Sheila + Alex (Trudder Lodge / Wicklow)

Sheila and Alex's wedding at the Trudder Lodge , Co. Wicklow was the end of a week's wedding marathon. 5 weddings in 7 days gave me a hard time and I must admit it was quite a challenge. When I got there, I decided to take a short walk to see the area. The beautiful forest, garden and the omnipresent silence made me feel the blissful atmosphere of relaxation. From the very first minutes, the Trudder Lodge charmed me with its calmness and great atmosphere that could be felt in the air.

Preparations of Alex and Sheila proceeded calmly in the privacy of the building, outside the staff was preparing the place for the ceremony which was to take place under the branches of a beautiful tree. Nobody paid any attention to the rain, which made itself felt every few minutes. Soon after, guests began to arrive, who were seated at the place of the ceremony, and the atmosphere was joyful and cordial. Nature, beautiful landscapes and a gentle buzz of laughing children.

After a while, the ceremony began, which was a mixture of emotions, tears, laughter and the true happiness of the bride and groom. After the ceremony, the guests went for refreshments, and we managed to get the young couple for a short walk in the surrounding gardens. As they pointed out at the beginning, posing is not an option, so I decided to take some pictures from the hiding place.

After the walk, we returned to the guests who did not pay attention to the rain falling every now and then. Just before the dinner bell, it was time to go home, and despite the fact that I was genuinely exhausted and a few hours earlier, I only thought about a comfortable bed and rest, so at the time of departure I was a pity that the wedding day was just beginning and I would probably miss a lot of wonderful and exciting moments that I would like to photograph.
